We're proud to share the news that during 2020 we have expanded the team, adding new skills to help delight our customers and expand our outdoor kitchen offering. Jacques Shelton, Managing Director
CENA's Managing Director Jacques Shelton, who has a degree in Economics, founded the outdoor kitchen brand in 2018 after years working in hospitality, horticulture and event management. Jacques has been the driving force behind the outdoor kitchen brand and its vision from the very start. Jacques lends his exceptional customer service approach and design skills to CENA and has built up and excellent relationship with CENA customers and commercial partners.
Away from the CENA office and his love of outdoor kitchens, Jacques enjoys indulging in his passions for travel, cooking and the great outdoors.
Peter Simpson, Senior Design Consultant
Senior Design Consultant Peter Simpson has 20 year's experience in the kitchen and bathroom sector and brings a wealth of product knowledge to the CENA design team. Peter has worked in both the residential and commercial kitchen sectors and specialises in high-end, bespoke kitchens.
When he's not working hard to bring CENA kitchens to life, Peter enjoys looking after his two little boys, open water swimming (brrr!) and football.
Gemma Strong, Lead Designer
CENA’s Lead Designer Gemma has a degree in Interior Architecture and Design and 10 year’s experience in commercial interior design, working on projects for a number of household names. Gemma is equally comfortable liaising with clients, architects, mechanical and electrical engineers or suppliers and works hard to bring a kitchen from a vision to reality.
When she’s not working on beautiful new kitchen designs, Gemma enjoys food, fitness and travel, as well as learning more about all elements of the design process.
Steven White, Project Lead
Project Lead Steven White joined CENA after a successful career in mechanical design with well-known and respected brands such as Mercedes F1, Boeing and Caterpillar. Steven takes the lead for CENA on technical design, manufacturing and project management, bringing his keen eye for detail to help ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Steven, who was born and raised on the south coast, spends his time surfing, hiking and enjoying scented candles in his spare time.
